Refresher’s! – LUUMS in Semester 2

After a hugely successful first term, LUUMS is excited to welcome new and returning members to the society to kick off a new semester!

TriUni: Universities of Durham, Leeds and Warwick
📍Clothworker’s Centenary Concert Hall

The long-running, annual TriUni concert returns to Leeds on the 31st of January, at 7PM!
Featuring performances from the wonderful Warwick Brass Society, Durham University Brass Band, and LUUMS Brass Band, culminating in a staggering mass band set, with all 3 bands playing together!
Soup Social

🗓️ Saturday, 7 February | 3:30PM onwards
A cosy afternoon of homemade soup, hosted by members of the LUUMS committee! The address for the first location will be distributed internally through ensemble groups.
- Bring your own bowl (BYOB!) and spoon
LUUMS Ball 2026!
🗓️ Saturday, 21 February | 7:00PM onwards
LUUMS ball is back this for a fantastic night of live music, a sit down dinner and our annual LUUMS awards!
The ticket covers a 3-course meal, half a bottle of wine (or two soft drinks). We are delighted to announce that LUU Big Band will be performing for the event!
Deadline to purchase tickets is February 5th.
LUUMS members are allowed to invite a plus-one.
Please ensure that all attendees fill out the dietary form immediately after purchasing a ticket.
